UREIHIKARI

UREIHIKARI(a.k.a 유령빛, 幽霊光) is a Korean Harsh Noise and Post Rock artist. He was a bassist in the post-rock band "RUSH!" from 2021 to early 2024, when he was named DOJOSIO. After the suspension of the band "RUSH!" he was active as a noise, guitarist, and bassist in the band "無擕(Mu Hyu)". He also makes or performs music through collaboration with several artists.
Career
By the time he was in elementary school, he naturally encountered Korean hip-hop, following the trend of his friends, and worked with FL Studio by making beats and hip-hop crew. Meanwhile, he got easily fed up with hip-hop and became interested in Japanese music when he encountered YMO, a Japanese synth-pop group, around the time of his elementary school graduation, which greatly influenced his collection of records and listening to vast amounts of Japanese music. He also encountered Nirvana and Metallica through the influence of his father, who liked metal and knew how to play the guitar. Among them, he came across the guitar through Nirvana. Around this time, he made lonayu and the band punk band "RUSH!" and UREIHIKARI was called "DOJOSIO." It was named after one of the songs titled "RUSH!" Their first recording was a cover of NIRVANA's "Floyd The Barber." "RUSH!" was a punk band at first, but by the mid to late stages, it became more of a post-rock band. Listen to one of their songs, "Lakeside Sunset." He has been producing solo songs while promoting "RUSH!" and most of the genres are shuggaging and noise. After their breakup live in January 2024, "RUSH!" disbanded and started going their separate ways. Since then, he has been doing various music activities since then, after changing his name to UREIHIKARI.

The exact Romaji of his activity name "UREIHIKARI" is "YUREIHIKARI," but there is an unusual notation for omitting "Y" and then reading "U" and "REIHIKARI" separately
